RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION
Registration
for students returning to CKCS has taken place and your signed Tuition Agreement should be on file with the office. If you
are moving out of town or transferring to another school, please send a letter and let us know so we can give that place to
another child. Academic fees are due by May 13, 2011. If you need an extension on the time for payment, please call
Mr. Crain.
If you have upcoming Kindergarten
children, be sure to include their name on the Tuition Agreement. You must also fill out an Application for Admission
- which we will send you after receiving your Tuition Agreement. This year it will not be necessary for siblings to
come on the “Open Applications” date. I would like to meet with you and your Kindergarten child but will
call you to schedule an appointment once we have received your application.

Tuition
Schedule for 2011 - 2012
Tuition payments are due by the 10th of every month, beginning in August 2011 through May 2012.
Tuition payments received after the 10th should include a $30.00 late fee. In some cases, tuition prepayment may be required.
CKCS uses a coupon book system of tuition payment. The August tuition coupon will be mailed to your home in July.
Each family will be issued a coupon book in August with the remaining nine coupons.
Special financial circumstances
should be addressed to the principal or pastor in a timely manner.
Tuition Assistance
Although families pay tuition, this does not cover the entire cost of education. The remaining
cost is subsidized by Christ the King Church and St. Lawrence Church. This is why it so important to contribute to
your church. Families that are requesting tuition assistance must know that Christ the King Catholic School uses the
FACTS program to determine if a family qualifies for tuition assistance. This is an online application that must
be completed before any assistance can be given. The assistance given to families comes from the school (Sister
Maureen Scholarship Fund) and will only cover tuition, not registration fees. Since we are a Catholic School, we do
not receive any federal funds or grants to help with tuition. We have a limited amount of
money that can be given to qualifying families. Please complete the online application or contact the school office
for more information.

To qualify for the contributing Catholic rate, the parents or individuals responsible for the students must be registered
members of Christ the King Parish or St. Lawrence Parish. The contributing Catholic rate is determined by the total
contributions the parish receives from the parents/ individual financially responsible for the parish fiscal year (January
to December). If $1,000 or more was received by the parish in that year, the family qualifies for the first rate. If less
than $1,000 was received, the family qualifies for the second rate. Each parish reports to the school which tuition rates
a family will qualify for and any discussion of which rates a family qualifies for must be discussed with the parish office.
Non-Catholic families pays $4700
per student enrolled.
