The Sister Maureen Nolan Scholarship Fund

 

The purpose of the Sister Maureen Scholarship Fund is to give financial assistance to families in need who are seeking a Catholic education for their children.  This fund will enable our school to continue Sister Maureen’s legacy of generosity to those families dedicated to our mission.

 

Financial assistance may be considered for students meeting the following criteria:

1.        The student must be baptized Catholic.

2.        The family must be willing to contribute their time and talent to Christ the King Catholic School and their parish.

 

The following steps may be initiated if the criteria above are met:

1.        A family that wished to apply for financial assistance will contact CKCS for the application form and information from FACTS financial assessment service.

2.        The family must write a letter expressing their need for assistance and their involvement in our school to submit with the application.

3.        The application must be completed no later than May 1^st for assistance in the following academic year.

4.        The financial committee will review all applicants and FACTS assessment with the school administration.

5.        Applicants will be interviewed by the school principal and the pastor.

These guidelines are offered as an aid to help in our response to those who seek assistance with genuine need.  All information provided will be kept confidential.
