• The Counselor provides individual, small and large group counseling.  The program covers such topics as feelings, self-esteem, friendship, making good decisions, choices and consequences, appropriate behavior, study skills, understanding individual differences, and career choices. 
• The counselor also coordinates “Rainbows for All God’s Children”, a program for students who have experienced death or divorce in their families, the Too Good for Drugs program, and DARE. 
• The DWP Discipline Program is also supervised by the counselors, who coordinate which skills are emphasized during the school year, as well as the certificate recognition program. 
• Red Ribbon Week is also an active part of the school year, with the counselor directing the scope of activities.
